Indian Railway, have you been here?
I found many of us are not aware of a site www.erail.in for getting train informatins instantly. The intersting fact is that, seat availability in multiple trains can be seen without switching the pages. Even 'Mouse over' on availability link gives you a lot of informatin like composition of train, fare etc.

This site, I am hearing it for the first time and had a look into it. its ok. Its simple site iframed to indianrail.gov.in. Nice work done. there is no possiblity to book ticket. only enquery. I think instead of login on to IRCTC we could have checked this site first. then book ticket from IRCTC.
Yes Pakshi... You cannot book tickets from here. It seems irctc also has modified its site recently. Multiple data is available now in that too. (I am logging in to itctc after more than six months today). Believe me, this site existed from long time ago, where we had to click, click, click and click to know availabilities of different trains in the same rout.
